I love bright colors, pattern and texture which makes mosaics the perfect medium for me. I love finding ceramic cups, saucers and plates to combine and create a new piece of art. Sometimes finding a one-of-kind ceramic object at a garage sale inspires an entire mosaic for me. Working in mosaics is so liberating and relaxing; not every piece needs to be perfectly nipped or grinded.
My favorite subject to mosaic is a well known painting that has many patterns and colors. It’s so rewarding to find a ceramic that matches a part of the painting!
